An era passed
There was a time when Exiles was a top comic... for me at least. Judd Winick seems to get a lot of flack from many comic fans for some reason. I understand he was on the Real World TV show but I have never seen it and don't care. I really just liked his comics.

I'm trying to slog through this most recent trade paperback and it's been tough. I know Winick hasn't been writing it for a long time but mostly it was at least passable. This... it not good. It rather not good.

Makes me a bit sad. But I still have those old issues at least. I guess that's what collecting is about huh? You can always go back to the good ones.

Oh, dude. Claremont just sucked all the awesome out of Exiles. I read the first trade he wrote and dropped the series right then and there.

This message is for Eric Pronko. My name is Lori G and I live in Cincinnati. A very good friend of mine, who happens to be a Baptist preacher, mentioned to me last summer on a Mission Trip that his youth ministry group in WV used to play "Mongo Bat" in the early 90's. I was going to surpise him with a Mongo Bat, but found out Mattel ceased production of these in the early 90's. Some intense Internet research and googling pulled up your name, but I never could locate you. (It appeared that you were probably in college in the early 90's.) Anyway, I was hoping you could email me or call me (lori.guban@jacobs.com or gubanlj@aol.com or cell: 513-703-6429) and at least confirm that you are the correct Eric Pronko and, possibly, maybe, help me locate a Mongo Bat for my close friend. it would really make his day! Thanks for any help you can offer.........Lori
